WHO? My name’s Aimee. The #1 most important thing about me is that I’m a Christian – my life’s been totally changed by Jesus. What I most love to spend my time on is taking care of my little boy, hanging out with my husband, reading at bagel shops, & eating ice cream.
WHAT? A blog – of course. But to be more specific, this is a blog about living in ways that show love to other people – even people I’ve never seen, never met, and about whom I know nothing. I’m on a journey to make little choices in my life that show love towards people around the world. I don’t expect to change everything about my life, and I don’t expect my choices to transform the world. But I do want to do my best to live a life that loves.
WHEN? One day at a time.
WHERE? Real, everyday life.
WHY? Because Jesus said that the greatest commandment is “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matt.22:37-39). Though I know I’ll do it imperfectly, I want to work on loving God & loving other people through little choices in life (ones that I never used to think twice about).
